Ever wondered what it might look like if a Mohawk banged a mullet and had an Altoid fetish? Piercing vocals, half-finished tattoos, and a man-bag….all things you’ll find coming from center stage at a Welbilt show. The lyrical inspiration for all of Welbilt’s songs come from the mind of Nate Ihara. If you think he’s talented with a pen and a pick, you should see him with a spatula and a spoon. He makes a mean vaca frita….sooo good it’ll get you off. As the resident sober one, we all cherish his long distance driving skills, and ability to hit every rumble strip in the country. If he has to stay awake and drive, then we have to stay awake and keep him company. “You made me the best Mixtape I have….even the bad ones ain’t so bad.” Nate has made over 100 mix tapes to entertain himself on the road and he only listens to one song on each disc…..so damn annoying, he doesn’t even finish listening to the song he wanted to hear. What’s the point? Bring Nate an energy drink to keep him going all night long and he’ll tell you one of his new-found jokes. |
Nate plays a Fender Stratocaster through his new Vox amp and also uses his custom Budweiser guitar whenever possible……thanks Bud!
